Bibliotheca Bodmer

(Bodmer Library) is located in Cologn y, (Switzerland) exactly outside Geneva. The Library was founded by the bibliophile Martin Bodmer of Geneva (1899-1971). An import ant part of the collection are the Papyrus Bodmer. The name indic ates that it only a papyrus, but some are written on parchment (XVI, XIX, XXII). Some of these papyri are the oldest surviving copy of the Greek New Testament. The first of papyri, Bodmer II (66) was purchased in 1956.
